The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), within the National Institutes of Health, announces a meeting of the National Advisory Allergy and Infectious Diseases Council. The NIAID Council plays four key roles: 1) Performing second-level review; 2) Advising NIAID on policy; 3) Reviewing programs; and 4) Developing and clearing concepts for program announcements, request for applications, request for proposals, and broad agency announcements.

Among topics for this meeting are updates regarding "Extramural Research Response to Zika Virus" and on "Genomic Centers for Infectious Diseases".
