The Washington Post – Both the Environmental Protection Agency and the Interior Department are overhauling a slew of outside advisory boards that inform how their agencies assess the science underpinning federal policies.
CNN – The Interior Department froze the work of more than 200 advisory boards, committees and subcommittees last week. An agency spokeswoman said about a third of those advisory boards are science-based.
